Write In Sounders!
The voting options have been released for the Seattle MLS team name. We want to encourage everyone to use the write – in option to suggest “Seattle Sounders”. We can make this happen!
Voting will begin Thursday, March 27th.
Pre-Season kicks off this Saturday, March 22nd!
The Seattle Sounders will host the Vancouver Whitecaps (scum to the north) this Saturday at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. The match kicks-off at 7 pm with a season-ticket holder meet-and-greet with the players at 4:30 pm. Tickets for the match itself will be available at 5:30 pm and will be $5. Before that though there will be a meeting with Bart Wiley of Seattle MLS. We don’t know what that is all about but we will keep you informed. Feel free to show up to the meeting with Bart. It will be in the same room as the meet and greet at 3:45 PM.
Seatle Pacific University is offering a free ticket to the Sounders home opener (May 10th) to any ECS member that buys a ticket to the pre-season match against SPU. The SPU match will be at Lake Stevens High School Saturday, April 5th at 7 PM.Contact Aundrea White at aundrea@century21.com for ticket details. Tell her you are with ECS to get a ticket for opening night.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
In an effort to help spread the word about the ECS and the upcoming Sounders season, the ECS will be marching in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. We want YOU to join us! The parade is this Saturday March 15th. We will meet at Fado between 9am and 10am to tie one on then walk up to City Hall Park on the corner of 4th Ave and Jefferson St to begin the parade. The parade proceeds North on 4th Ave until we reach Westlake Center. We invite anyone and everyone involved with the ECS to join us! Talk about it here.
