In the next couple of weeks ECS will receive the final piece we’ve been waiting on to finally be able to offer memberships: our scarves. It’s been a few months of talking without anything official being said about the membership so it might as well become clear now:

A $30 Emerald City Supporters Membership for 2009 will consist of the following:
An ECS Scarf
An ECS T-shirt
A uniquely identifiable ECS membership card.

The membership card will also work as a discount card. It will get you the following deals:

10% off from Who Are Ya Designs
Drink specials from the George and Dragon
Drink specials from Fuel
Drink specials from the Atlantic Crossing
Drink specials at Mick Kelly’s pub in Burien
Drink specials from the College Inn in the U District
Discount on Carlsberg and free bus rides from Doyle’s Public House (Tacoma)

With all the drink specials and discounts you might even come out ahead for $30 just off the membership card alone.

That being said, what should we do to get everyone together and get the gear in your hands you’ve been waiting for? Should we have a viewing party for an MLS match? Should we have a viewing party for the USA : Guatemala qualifier? Should we wait for MLS Cup?
