Merci Le Toux! Sounder Selected by Union

Thank you for three strong years. You have been fantastic. From your golden boot in 2007 to a strong first MLS campaign. You helped make us champions. Thank you!

Where do you start with a player like Sebastien Le Toux?

He was arguably the most successful Sounder on the pitch the final two years of the USL Sounders. He came and said hello to every supporter and fan after every match, regardless of how tired he was.

He won the USL-1 golden boot in 2007 and contributed to Sounders fourth USL-1 title. In 2009 he assisted Montero’s first goal. On mother’s day, May 10, 2009, he opened his MLS scoring account against LA Galaxy with a lovely goal to beat Ricketts. He has come on countless times for Schmid, out of position, to make a positive impact late in almost every game he’s featured.

He featured in the US Open Cup final, snagging a ball late and then finding Levesque. He made up part of Sounders “French Connection” (even if one half was not French). He helped bring our first MLS trophy to Seattle.

Sebastien, you have served the club very well in three years. We will not forget you. Tonight please raise your glass salute a true Sounders legend!

Once more… Allez Le Toux!

See you on the terraces,
Keef
