Don’t be like Ricketts, Get out to the AC!

Get on out for the Sounders viewing party at the Atlantic Crossing or you’ll be kicking yourself like Ricketts. If you get too drunk and roll around on the patio… That’s another story! Photo concept: Jason Ross.

Sounders FC have been running into a bit of tough luck with MLS officiating as of late and will be hoping to turn it around this weekend against F*C* Dallas at Pizza Hut Park. As Goalkeeper Kasey Keller wrote on his blog: “What is going on with some of the decisions from the officials?” This is something we all would like to know.

This week we’ll have another suspended player as Montero returns and Riley is suspended (Riley’s suspension may be extended to a total of three games for violent conduct). Hopefully we will see a team that is hungry for three points. However, questions remain: have Fredy and Freddie worked out their on-field snafus? Who will take Riley’s position? Will Sounders FC have enough stamina to last in the Dallas weather (80 degrees F with possible thundershowers)?

Hopefully the answer to all of these questions will be positive and we’ll see a team ready to do Seattle proud. Bottom line, very few things in life could be as embarrassing as Rickett’s behavior last Sunday!

Be sure to make it out to one of the ECS parties. The main 21-and-over party will be at the Atlantic Crossing and the main all-ages at the Azurri (located in Fremont across from George & Dragon). If that’s too far head to the Three Lions in Redmond or Doyle’s in Tacoma for your Sounders FC fix!
