Sunday: A Clash of Titans

Join ECS at the Atlantic Crossing Sunday, Jan. 11 to view Manchester : Chelsea @ 2pm.

This Sunday join Emerald City Supporters for our first membership event of 2009! It is the type of fixture that football fans live for. With Liverpool three points ahead of Chelsea and six points ahead of Man Utd this match very well could be looked back upon in June as one that helped shape the final standings of the Premiership. Adding to this already fabulous fixture will be the rivalry that has been created between these two perennial championship contenders who have shared the spoils of the Premiership for the last four years running (Chelsea won the title in 04-05 and 05-06 while United won 06-07 and 07-08).

For those of you whom one match just isn’t enough to whet your palette there will be early festivities occurring just across the street! All are invited to head to Seattle’s Roosevelt High School (practically across the street from the Atlantic Crossing – 1410 NE 66th St Seattle, WA 98115) as ECS FC takes on Jet City Strikers at 11:15 am. There is plenty of parking in the Roosevelt lot from which you can easily walk down to the AC!

Lastly, please be sure to bring you membership card with you to the AC so you can get drink and food specials during the match! If you don’t have one yet be sure to sign up Sunday. There’s no better time than the present. See you Sunday!
