August will present Sounders FC with a very challenging month as we get closer to the final stretch (RSL will represent the 2/3 mark with 20 games played). Sounders will be returning home to RBP for a friendly with Europe’s #1 club between two difficult road fixtures in seven days.

With the importance of the two away fixtures the question in the back of most supporters’ minds will be how long our starters should play. Ultimately Sigi will start a competitive lineup, however should we have one eye on the difficult RSL fixture on Saturday and rest our starters early?
