The US has never won in Costa Rica and can add to their claim to top dog in CONCACAF with a victory. The US is well on their way to qualify for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. With a record of 2-1-0 they sit atop the final table with 7 points, needing a top 3 finish (of 6) to automatically qualify.
