“I’m a terrible fucking supporter and have only been to ONE Cascadia away trip, scum, this year. It was however, the best fucking away trip I’ve ever been on. Standing on top of my bus at the rest stop (who took my pic btw, I want it), mobile keg stands, seeing the looks on the scum natives when the saw Owen (age 9) and Milo (age 13) going nucking futz as our buses pulled into town. Then the up and the down and the up and the down and the up, Up, UP. As we beat those bastards on their own ground.
I wish SOOOO much that I could get into Canada to watch our boys battle it out for the Cascadia Cup. At least there will be a bunch of us on the bus with everyone to Bellingham, where we’ll depart to watch from the Copper Hog.”

Mine are back when the cascadia cup meant something and before the ssiders and TA decided to do their own thing last year instead of put it on hiatus as it should have when everyone knew it would be a three team competition again the following year.
1) Paying some coin to even get the thing made. Think the TA only had to pay a buck or two each given they had numbers… for us it was more like 20-30 bucks apiece.
2) I drove the cup up to Vancouver for a match one year. I got some interested looks from the canadian customs agents on the way in as they saw the cup seatbelted in my back seat… no more “how long are you staying in canada” questions, more like “what’s that trophy and why are you bringing it into the country”
3) Drinking some serious amounts of beer out of it after we got it back from Vancouver the first time.
And there’s images such as this one:

So, get in and get your tickets if you haven’t already.
See you on the terraces,
Keith
