SoCal Sound

Who We Are

SoCal Sound is one of the largest sub-groups of the ECS outside of the PNW. We draw members from Ventura, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Diego counties. During the regular season we host tailgates for Sounders away matches against the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA. We also host regular viewing parties at various locations in Los Angeles. Any and all Sounders supporters are welcome to follow us on Facebook and join us in person down in SoCal. 

History

As an official subgroup of ECS, SoCal Sound was first established in 2009. The group has steadily grown since then, from approximately 60 to 225 members on Facebook. Camille Lewis has lead SCS since 2011. 

What We Do

SCS is dedicated to supporting the Sounders from afar. We host viewing parties for every match: MLS, CONCACAF, and US Open Cup. When the Sounders travel to LA, SCS hosts all the weekend events from the pre-funk to the tailgate on the day of the match. Typically before Sounders matches in LA, we will host a two-pole party to make signs and banners for match day. All of our events are open to supporters of all ages, young and old, the more Sounders support the better!

How To Join

We currently do not have a membership fee, being we are sub-group of ECS we encourage our supporters to join ECS. However, we will have new merchandise for sale including a new scarf design and other swag items for the 2013 season for sale on the group page, proceeds directly support SCS.
