About

West Sound Armada was founded in the spring of 2010 by 8 relative strangers whose only common connection was living in Kitsap County and being members of the Emerald City Supporters.  These ECS members came together to organize support for the Seattle Sounders among the residents of Kitsap County and the greater West side of the Puget Sound.  This was the beginning of great friendships, great support and a new sub-group of the ECS.  As the 2012 season approaches, the WSA has an even more clear vision and a bright outlook for the future of our support for the Sounders.

Our primary purpose is to unite Sounders fans on the West side of Puget Sound in support of the club.  In order to accomplish this goal…

- WSA hosts viewing parties at our home pub for all Sounders away matches

- WSA members meet in Bremerton and Bainbridge Island to ride the Washington State Ferries to the home matches at Royal Brougham Park (C-Link).  We endeavor to talk to Sounders fans and invite them to our viewing parties and events while on the ferries.

- WSA members meet in Seattle at Temple Billiards and march together in the March to the Match on gamedays.

- WSA members roadtrip to away matches together as part of the official ECS away trips.

- WSA is looking at putting together an indoor football team made up of WSA members.

Currently the WSA is lead by two Co-Presidents:

Jared (reasonbass) & Ian (eatcalientepockets)
