Mission Statement
A diverse collective of supporters east of the Cascades connecting Sounders FC fans & building community through soccer.
Who We Are
Bellingham Night watch (BNW) is the official ECS subgroup representing Bellingham. We also welcome and invite our neighbors in Whatcom County, Skagit County, and British Columbia. Our crest depicts beautiful Mt. Baker and Bellingham Bay lakes and valleys in the form of a crow skull. The Night Watch name is a nod to our favorite ECS tifo display on 5/27/2017 with Brian Schmetzer as the Rightful King. We are the ECS of the north. We are at the border. We are always watching.
History
Our history begins now. We are the new kids on the block and we’ve been hanging tough to have 2019 as our debut year amongst prestigious ECS subgroup royalty. We look to them for inspiration, guidance, and support. BNW stands on the shoulders of giants. A few years ago the Bellingham community experienced an upset in the normal go-to scenario for soccer enthusiasts and thus, Sounder Hamsters were scattered to the wind. As life went on and settled down, we grasped at the opportunity to start anew; to recreate and reboot, to gather and support our beloved Sounders.
What We Do
We gather. We love the Sounders. We celebrate and sometimes commiserate. We actively promote our sweet little subgroup to any Sounder we meet to spread the word that there is a small friendly community with open arms. We host our ECS traveling family at both North and South bound rest stops for Vancouver away matches. We are also the rescue committee for any Canada rejects who cannot cross the border. We don’t judge.
Where We Meet
Our home match gatherings are smaller than away matches as many of us have season tickets and travel south to attend. For home matches in Seattle, you can find us at:
Temple Billiards
126 S Jackson St
Seattle, WA 98104
In Bellingham, home and away, we congregate at:
Menace Brewing
2529 Meridian St
Bham, WA 98225
It’s nice and spacious, many screens with sound, good food, good brew, excellent staff, kid-friendly, and centrally located with ample parking. Thumbs up all around!

Who We Are:
There’s always that one crazy friend in the group. The one that you’re never really sure what they’re going to do next? Yeah, that’s us. Tropic Sound is the ECS subgroup for Florida, the Gulf Coast, and the Caribbean islands. It’s pretty accurate to be called the “Florida Man” of supporters groups.
History:
Originally started in 2002 by Crist Jarrett when he and a group of friends made the trip from Florida to see the Sounders open Royal Brougham Park by smashing Vancouver 4-1. When MLS made the decision that Seattle would join in 2007, we decided to make a go as the furthest possible supporters group from home. Although individuals have been ECS members for longer, Tropic Sound officially joined as a subgroup in 2016.
What We Do:
We get ridiculous. Loud and unashamed. You will always find us in the away terraces at Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, and beyond. Spreading the love for the Rave Green with our passionate support every chance we get.
How To Join:
When joining Emerald City Supporters, designate Tropic Sound as your subgroup. Check us out on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
Where We Meet:
Being as spread out as we are, it’s hard to meet up for every match, but we have local spots in the South Florida tri-county, Tampa-St Pete, Orlando, and Jacksonville areas that smaller groups get together at.

Who We Are
The European Sounders Federation (ESF) is a subgroup dedicated to spreading the love of Sounders across Europe and to those that have ties, permanent or temporary, to the continent. ESF helps supporters build and grow communities in their country using their native language. We have members in Croatia, the Netherlands, Hungary, France, Germany, and more.
History
ESF was founded in 2015 by former Socal Sound co-organizer Steve Tauber after he moved to Croatia. The group quickly spread to various countries with the help of Armed Services Group and other ECS members that had relocated abroad. Since then, Euro Sounders has met in person yearly with the group printing their first scarf in 2017.

The escutcheon is a semi round shield: Party per pale argent and azure, the Space Needle eradicated counterchanged, border sable; surrounded by two laurel branches vert overlapping, a ribbon argent club founding year '74, name European Sounders Federation, founding year '15 sable.
Where We Meet
We meet in person at least once per year but sometimes more frequently. Previously, we have met in Amsterdam, Naples, Frankfurt, and Berlin. Every spring when the schedule is released, we vote on our meetups for the year. We welcome all Sounders fans to attend these meetups. We also have custom pins for those that join the fun!
Some of our members are European natives that have moved to Seattle and are active there. They meet up regularly for games. We also have an 8'x8' (2,4 sqm) flag that you can use for home matches. This needs to be coordinating with the game day operations team.
How to Join
It's easy. Join our Facebook group below! We are also active on Twitter. Additionally, some of our member organizations (those representing a specific country) are active on Twitter too. If you are an ECS member, please remember to designate ESF - European Sounders Federation when renewing your membership.

Mission Statement
A diverse collective of supporters east of the Cascades connecting Sounders FC fans & building community through soccer.
Who We Are
Dry Side Supporters (DSS) is a subgroup of ECS representing the sunnier side of Washington. Our purpose is to connect Sounders FC fans across the expansive Columbia River Basin. We hope to build a network of support throughout central and eastern Washington so fans, no matter where they may be, can find a home amongst Sounders faithful. We celebrate the diversity of our membership and embrace the local communities we each call home. We support with all of our energy because not even the highest peaks of the Cascades can dull our passion for Sounders FC.
What We Do
We love our boys in famous green! So we get together at our home bars for every match to drink, sing, get rowdy, and celebrate another Sounders victory. With open arms and cold beers, we welcome all Sounders supporters that wish to join us in revelry and do our best to keep them coming back.
We help to connect Sounders supporters throughout our region to organize and gather together. We know that our numbers aren't sparse, we are however, spread out. Uniting Dry Siders together to strengthen support across the state is fundamental to our growth and will always remain a part of what we do. Soon Sounders across all of Washington will see one another and speak the words "you can always count on me."
We named ourselves the Dry Side Supporters, because of the rain shadow that gives us over 300 sunny days and only 8 inches of precipitation per year. We decided to become a communications hub for our entire region, connecting supporters in cities across eastern Washington. We chose to seek out the fans and the Sounders faithful in our communities so that we could all unite as Dry Siders.
How To Join
Dry Side Supporters is open to all ECS members, select "DSS - Dry Side Supporters" as your subgroup when purchasing your ECS membership. Join us at Temple before a home match or at the Yakima Sports Center for an away match. Find other viewing locations across the Dry Side by following us online.

Who We Are
Anchor-N-Rose 48s is the official ECS sub-group of Oregon anchored in the heart of Portscum. We are the collective of all Sounders visiting and expatriate following in the immortal footsteps of our group’s godfather, Roger Levesque; invading Portland’s turf and striking quickly. Our endeavors seek to champion the cause of SSFC in the Portland community and beyond while providing safe harbor for those of the Eternal Blue and Forever Green. We are Anchors piercing the rose. We are the Rebellion. We are Emerald City Supporters. 48 seconds!
History
On July 1st, 2009, it took under one minute for SSFC to score the first goal in the first match as an MLS side against Portland. This monumental strike set the stage for SSFC’s dominance in our MLS era against Portscum for all Sounders that followed. In mid-2013, a small group of individual Sounder expat supporters banded together with the mission of finding our own island in the pond of scum. ANR 48s established formally at the beginning 2014 creating a reliable and consistent Sounders community integrated into the Portland area. We look to our Sounders brethren to help us write the next chapter of Sounder glory in PDX.
What We Do
We’re here to drink. We’re here to sing. We’re here to support all Sounders, those visiting, as well as, those of us living in Oregon/ SW Washington to cheer on our boys taking the pitch. We hold pre-match parties for the PDX Away games and we host viewing parties at our home bar for all Sounder matches. To warm up for the matches, we organize regular tifo parties where we make banners, flags and signs and get together as a group outside of regular Sounder events. Our intent is to build and maintain a community so that even in Oregon no Sounder will ever yacht alone.
How To Join
For Sounders Supporters in Portland, the greater Oregon area, or those traveling this way, join us for our viewing and pre-match parties. If you would like to become a part of our community, join the ECS and designate ‘ANR’ as your subgroup. All events and additional details for the Anchor-N-Rose 48s can be found on our Facebook group page and Twitter feed.

Who We Are
Pride of the Sound is a loud and proud subgroup of the ECS. We take pride in supporting our Football Club while we live proudly as members of the LGBTQA community. We promote tolerance socially as well as strive to promote tolerance inside the supporter’s culture as well as inside a major MLS franchise. Whatever gender or orientation we claim, we are strong, loyal members of the ECS, and our mission is to provide a comfortable atmosphere for people to support the best way that they can.
What We Do
We meet at Fuel Sports Bar before every home match, and you have probably seen us wave a rainbow flag somewhere between 121 and 123. During home matches, we can be found in Lower Section 122 of the stadium. When our boys are away, we are at the Canterbury Ale House on Capitol Hill chanting our hearts out. Throughout the year, we host many different events, support during away and home games, and visibility at ECS sanctioned events. Through our leadership inside of the subgroup, we have many ways to help support the communities that support us.
History
We started this group with one key function in mind: support. Support for ECS members and support for our team. The idea of this group in its current form was planned over beers after a Sounders game early in the 2013 season. In June 2013, a few ECS members raised concerns about previous negative interactions, and the movement was made to create an environment where hostility towards others based on gender or orientation were not tolerated. It was a main goal to make sure that people felt comfortable in an environment that has been historically misrepresentative of homosexuality and the transgender community. We decided to start standing together proudly at the bottom of lower 122. This group is about connecting with people within our two families: the LGBTQA family and the ECS family.
How To Join
Pride of the Sound is open to all ECS members, select Pride of the Sound as your subgroup when purchasing membership, join us at Fuel before a home match or Canterbury Ale House for an away match, or find us online.
Who We Are
Fog City Faithful is a subgroup of Sounders supporters located in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout Northern California. We welcome both visitors and transplants from Seattle as well as folks from all over who caught the Sounders bug.
History
Fog City Faithful was started as Bay Area Sounders Supporters by Daniel Lee who had relocated to California for work. The group stayed small until 2012 when more and more Sounders fans started relocating to the Bay Area. In 2013, we changed our name to Fog City Faithful and became an official ECS subgroup. The group has been handed down through a series of organizers as folks return to Seattle or venture further afield.
What We Do
FCF is first and foremost a Sounders supporters group. We get together to view Sounders matches and host local away matches. Our members have organized trips to LA, Portland, RSL, Minnesota, Atlanta, and Toronto to watch the Sounders together. We’ve also been known to chase down people spotted wearing Sounders or ECS gear on the streets of San Francisco.
How To Join
You can join the Fog City Faithful Facebook page to keep up to date with our viewing events and meet other local Sounders faithful. We are also using Twitter to reach out to local and visiting Sounders fans. The Heartland Horde is a growing group of football lovers who are physically dispersed but united in our passionate support for the Seattle Sounders FC. We represent the largest geographical area of Sounders supporters– the Midwest and Central South. Our members can be found between the Rockies and the Appalachians, between Green Bay and New Orleans.
History
We started way back in 2009 when a few friends decided to band together to let the folks from the Sounders FC team know they have a following in the Midwest. The Heartland Horde was born! We have a mascot (Rainier, the bison), scarves, (and sometimes more swag) and have grown every year as we meet Sounders fans in the stands and bars and bring them into the fold.
What We Do

We are teachers, IT techs, consultants, doctors, property managers, barbers, and everything in between. Our Facebook page is active, especially on game days when we watch the games “together,” bemoaning bad calls and praising our boys in green. We are the “feet on the ground” for games on our turf, and our meetups are epic. Almost everyone tries to get out to at least a few games, home or away, each year. Our usual destinations include Kansas City, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Colorado, Minnesota, Houston, Salt Lake, and Cincinnati.
