ECS Partners

Emerald City Supporters has a number of partners that share our love of the Sounders and the game.  They provide us with the ability to offer discounts to our members, great viewing locations for away matches, and deals on gear.  Our preferred partner program recognizes partnerships that have grown into relationships with the partner that extends beyond the standard.

The Emerald City Supporters are an entirely volunteer driven group. Everything we do is fueled by our volunteer members, and we need you to get involved to continue to make it happen! With opportunities in tifo, merch, membership, and many other areas we know that you have what it takes to help the group grow in our support of the Sounders. To get more information about opportunities to get involved, simply provide your email address and check the box of the items you’d be interested in hearing about. We’ll email you when we have a need in those areas. In the meantime, be sure to sign up for the ECS forums as all information will be posted there and you’ll need a forum login and a membership to access it.

ECS Leadership Role:
As director of ECS FC, my role is to oversee the week-to-week operations, special events, and expansion of Emerald City Supporters Football Club, one of the largest centrally-operated and not-for-profit adult soccer clubs in Washington State. We aim to not only provide teams and leagues for all ECS members to play, but we strive to keep challenging ourselves at higher levels and competitions. Additionally, I oversee the organization of our annual rivalry matches with Timbers Army FC. We’ll be constantly keeping everyone updated on news, results, schedules, and championships via the ECS FC twitter account and our facebook page. I am a staunch believer that soccer should be accessible to players of all ages and skill levels. Even if you’ve never touched a ball in your life, if you are passionate about the game and want to play, I want you to come join us.

Who Are Ya?
I started regularly following the Sounders during the 2007 USL season, and officially joined ECS in 2009. Joining ECS FC in 2011 was my way of starting to get more involved in ECS as a whole and meeting more members. When I’m not managing, playing for ECS FC, or supporting the Sounders, you can probably find me jogging around Green Lake, biking somewhere in the city, or watching my beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball. Come find me and introduce yourself sometime! You’ll probably find me hanging out at Temple Billiards before or after a match. Follow me on twitter @adesimone!

ECS Leadership Role:
I am responsible for generation of content on the ECS website and for the newsletters. I also manage photography, including acquisition and dispersal of ECS press passes for home and away matches. I am also one of the voices on the @weareecs and @ecstravelmonkey twitter accounts and our facebook pages. One of my goals is to help provide ECS members information about supporters culture around the world and how the ECS fits into that.

Who Are Ya?
I'm a dedicated supporter of USMNT and SSFC, I use those teams as an excuse to see the world. I've supported the Sounders in 5 countries and look forward to more in the future. In my day job, I'm an engineer at Boeing.  If you have something you're passionate about sharing with the group on a large scale, whether it be your experiences in global supporter culture or with the ECS, find me on gameday either at Temple or in GA!  Follow me on twitter: @zag08

ECS Leadership Role:
I am the director of game day operationst. I am on the ECS Board of Directors and my primary role is organizing the support on game day.

Who Are Ya?
I joined ECS in April 2007, Sounders supporter since 2006. UW graduate. Resident ECS US Open Cup trophy carrier.

ECS Leadership Role:
My primary role is communication with the Sounders Front Office and handling requests for more ECS information from members, media, interested parties, and houseplants. I work with our fantastic leadership team to make sure this group is well run and that we can support the Sounders to the best of our abilities. This primarily takes the form of putting smart, talented, passionate people in position to do things they're good at and getting the hell out of the way. Less meddle, more metal.

Who Are Ya?
I joined ECS in 2009, took over as ECS Travel Monkey in 2010. Keeper of OUR Cascadia Cup. I also wore a dress to a match one time because fuck cancer, that's why. Follow me on twitter: @CursedFrogurt37

ECS Leadership Role:
I am an advisor to the ECS Board of Directors. My role is to provide input and advice on any and all issues regarding the ECS. I captained one of the tifo crew teams in 2009, and I occasionally capo, home or away.

Who Are Ya?
A Seattle native and Sounders supporter since 1975, I am one of the founding ECS members from the 2000’s. My first Sounders away match was 1976 for the NASL playoffs v. Minnesota, and I have since appeared at 25 or so away matches in USL and MLS. Outside of football, I am a homebrewer and overall beer aficionado, a software engineer by trade, and I live in Snohomish with my wife Leesa.

ECS Leadership Role:
I am a Co- Founder of the ECS, an ECS Board of Directors member, and as such I am an adviser to ECS Leadership. I provide input on any ECS matters with the understanding that my input be heard, but will not always be the direction taken by ECS Leadership. I act as a mentor and confidant to the Game Day Operations team. I also provide long term vision for the ECS and direct the group to where I would like to see it go.

Who Are Ya?
I am a person who is dedicated to his club, and to his fellow supporters. I am passionate about football, and believe that the sport needs supporters as much as supporters need the sport. I have spent many hours immersing myself in the many types of supporter culture that exist, and I try to take the best from each.

ECS Leadership Role:
As the Creative Director and Web Crew lead my role work with ECS designers, developers, photographers, and all around creative individuals to help produce a consistent visual experience wherever ECS is involved. The ultimate goal is to provide visual content that accurately reflects our passion, and love for the game. We're always looking for creative individuals who'd like to get more involved, whether in design, development, video, photography, music, etc.

Who Are Ya?
I grew up in Seattle as a child before moving to California in 1994. While my footy career consisted mostly of youth level clubs, I always loved the game and spent a lot of time following the USMNT before MLS. In 2008 I moved back to Seattle, just in time to see the Sounders preparing to move to MLS. In another life I used to spin house music, play with spray paint, breakdance, tune cars, and still love to spend a lot of time in the outdoors when I can get away. Nowadays you can find me at Temple on most days, and in the basement on most nights. Apparently it's my 2nd home.
