Wednesday night's Zach Scott Testimonial was a huge success, with 2,620 people coming to Memorial Stadium to say Farewell and Thank You to Mr. Sounder, Zach Scott. Between ticket sales, the auction, and donations, we raised $65,000 and increased awareness for charities important for Zach and his family. An event such as this requires a lot of work, and as such we have a lot of thanks to give today.

First and foremost, thank you to Zach Scott for being a player and a man who deserved this. Zach and his family were so gracious in working with us on this event, and their commitment to helping the community is an inspiration for us all. He will always be Mr. Sounder to us!

Thank you to all the players, it was great to see so many Sounders legends come back to help us honor Zach and show off what they’ve still got in the tank. Soccer in the Seattle area is strong because of guys like this who still care so much about each other, the Sounders, and the sport.

Thank you to all the ECS volunteers who helped make this happen. From tifo crew to our ticket sellers in the box office, to ticket scanners and the gameday crew leading the atmosphere, we couldn’t have done this without you. As a volunteer organization, everything we do is powered by the members who step up when asked.

Thank you to the Sounders FC! As partners on this project, we created a great event. From ticket launch and marketing to gameday operations, we came together to create and execute a plan to make this a special night for everyone. 

Thank you to the RAVE Foundation, for helping raise money by organizing and hosting the auction and scarves. It was a special opportunity for Sounders fans to get their hands on some rare and special memorabilia while helping raise funds for important causes!

A MASSIVE thank you to the Seattle Reign FC, for helping with the logistics of hosting a match at Memorial Stadium! From sharing experiences to sharing equipment, we could not have pulled this event off without the staff from the Reign.

Thank you to Ceres Roasting Company for doing all of the catering for the event and donating generously from the profits of the night to help further the charitable cause of the evening. It’s not a soccer match in Seattle without beer and meat pies!

Thank you to Hellbent Brewing Co for helping make the beer garden happen and keeping everyone warm with the magical powers of alcohol. We have high hopes for a long partnership!

Thank you to Bootstrapper Studios for making it possible to stream the match for the Sounders fans who were unable to attend. Thank you to Gregr and Manley for announcing, it was a lot of fun!
