Did anything ever happen with this? I learned to ride last summer, just got my first bike on Friday, know a couple other members interested as well. If nothing else, anyone make a good back patch?

Just an old 1980 Suzuki gs450L. It runs and was cheap - fit my parameters exactly! My roommates both ride 650's which I had been finding just a little too powerful for my comfort-level, but this one feels great so far.

That's a great bike. Have you thought about kitting it out into a cafe racer? Lots of good looking kits for that bike.

If you're looking to join a ride there's a cafe racer night in Ballard you could go to. Tons of bikes just like yours that meet every third Wednesday of the month year round. Lots of Harleys and crotch rockets there too but it started out as a vintage bike gathering. It'd be a perfect meetup for you.

I'll for sure check it out, thanks! I am mildly interested in making some mods to make it more café racer styled. Lower, straighter handlebars would be a lot more comfortable for me than the stock ones, for one thing. Previous owner custom fitted some fatter tires onto it that already moved it in this direction - but I need to figure out how to modify the front mudflap so it will fit again.

Curious what other ECS folks are riding now! Yourself, Conflag?

Things to consider for a back patch.

1, 2 or 3 piece patch. Are we rocking an MC cube? Brougham End needs to be the bottom rocker if it is a 3 piece as more established clubs WILL confront us about a city or state rocker (Red&Gold or 81s and/or their support guys would probably get upset) < and about the MC cube).

I will work on designs - asking leadership as far as if they have any issue with us using the existing shirts and sewing them on a vest and flying with those?

I'm in, sounds like a great idea! I only have antique bikes, anyone else in our ECS have vintage/antique motorcycles?

I would be very interested in joining this, I have already been riding to some games sporting the Mentality Gear.

Also attending away trips on bike would be much more enjoyable with other riders.
