If anyone is interested, there is a new Facebook group titled Football Casual Culture in North America

It can be found at http://www.facebook.com/groups/FCCiNA/

It is not about violence or arranging fights. The group description is as follows: This page is for the discussion of Casual/Terrace Culture in North America. This includes, but is not limited to banter, fashion, tifo, sharing photos, sharing stories, meeting up with others with the same interests and more. This page is NOT for arranging violence between supporters, clubs or individuals. No threats of violence or arranging meet ups will be tolerated on this page. You will get one notice, then banned. On the other hand, good natured banter amongst rivals, rival supporters groups, etc is just fine. Keep it above the belt. No posting personal information of other people, including photographs, without their consent.

I'm sure there has to be some Seattle folks interested in Casual Culture.

Hope this is okay to post, my apologies if it is not.

My experience with online groups involving SG's from a mix of MLS clubs has been pretty annoying/trollish/stupid and many others I know have had the same experience. See any NA Terraces post, the Cascadia Trifecta group, or any national MLS soccer site with a comment section. I doubt it's any different in your group but good luck and thanks for the info.

You're probably right on that level. I'm trying more to keep the focus on Casual Culture, rather than trolling about whatever. I'll see how it goes, it's only pretty new. If goes to crap, I'll just pull the plug.

Man, I wish all the supporter oriented groups had this sort of view.

Best of luck, sounds like you've got the right attitude!

I might lurk, but I don't really care about football fashion.

I'd consider myself a football casual. Not that my name gives it away but its definitely not about violence. Its more fashion, lifestyle, and loyalty if anything. Violence part is just crap that's been there since the beginning of time in football. I've seen lately lots of SSFC skins and teddy boys about. Not as many casuals. Been thinking of starting a casual crew for SSFC. Dallas already got one.....

Dallas has casuals? Fuck, they barely have any fans!

Yeah, I honestly like what I saw before that happened, maybe it will make it way back there. I thought the admin had some good stuff, but it blew up pretty quick to just people talking shit to each other all day and no Casual talk.
