For the past couple seasons, I've been trying to get into the GA section. This season, I will be in ECS Upper since the GA season tickets will be sold out. Since it is a ECS section, is there any chance that we can have flags, two-poles, capos, etc? That would be a great step in growing Brougham End!

Someone higher then me can comment more, but be patient, it wont all happen at once, maybe one day, but currently very limited to what we can do.

i think the proper answer is "in due time"

when i was in upper 122 a couple seasons ago two poles were allowed.

two poles and small flags are allowed and to be used sensibly. No BFFs yet, in due time. By small flag I mean 3x5 or smaller. Maybe even 5x5. Maybe its time to test the waters.

Being in upper myself and having lots of two poles I can say the moderation is the best way to start get to know your neighbors be friendly and start off with kickoff half and end of match. ease into it.
I'm in 123 AA seats 1-3 with the two cute little girls and my wife come by and say hi.

Also, match stoppages are a great time to display 2poles.

I'm bumping this post to bring up a few things I've noticed so far into the season.

One of the biggest problems I noticed is that we are off from the main drum and the capo's. It could be where I am seated in the section (122 GG) or the people towards the back either off or trying to be off on purpose, but it's a struggle for the section to stay on with the lower GA. I try to stay on beat with the middle 122 GA capo (Tim) but I think it's time to bring a capo up to the front of 122 if possible to keep a rhythm with the rest of the lower area. I'll be a capo if necessary.

Second thing i've noticed is that we have only a few 2-poles and flags (very rare) into the Upper ECS. How could we move more flags/2-poles into that area to bring more participation in Upper ECS?

My goal is the grow the ECS as much as possible and I will help in areas if needed.

the flags are a work in progress. We are working on several fronts to possible expand GA up there and more tifo privileges.

May i suggest that you get in touch with the right folks on this at Fuel next pregame. I would like to chat. Also fill one of these out: www.weareecs.com/help-needed

the capo problem we can't really do anything about in the current seating set up unless a person with their assigned seat wanted to be a capo every match (not being GA the people next to that person are stuck there hence on of the sticking points). I have head my two pole up every season for 3 seasons now. I want to start testing with small flags.
