FIRST PRACTICE January 23rd at 10:00AM

General ECS talk.

Unread postby BritishLiz » Mon Jan 18, 2016 2:15:07 pm

Time to get rid of the throwball lines and oddly shaped ball. It's football time and the boys are back.

Come reunite with your ECS brethren at Starfire for our first opportunity to watch the boys practice. Bring your two poles, your flags, your voice and your calf muscles as we shake off the cobwebs and remember how to be part of the best damn Supporter's Group in the MLS. If you're driving and intend to leave your car at Starfire, don't forget to bring $5 cash for parking!

We'll meet up at the North Campus around 10:00AM to welcome the boys back and watch them put through their paces. Please note: only water is allowed behind the yellow line on the artificial turf - no other beverages or food is allowed. No pets!

After practice, we'll scarf the players as they return to the locker room before heading up to 'Zaw for pizza and beer.

Please bring your 2016 Membership Card and we'll buy you a slice of pizza or salad. Haven't renewed yet? That's terrible! You should probably do something about that! Don't worry about getting your Membership Card in time for this event - we'd never let you miss out on cheesy goodness! We'll have a list of renewals or your can buy your membership at the event.

Anyone over 21 is welcome to purchase a $2 RedHook until the keg runs dry.

While we're at 'Zaw, leaders of various ECS groups such as Travel, Tifo, Membership etc. will be available to talk about their plans for the year so please take the opportunity to learn about what makes ECS tick and plan to participate in team meetings. We exist because of our volunteers - it's a great way to shape the future of the ECS and make life-long friends!

It's going to be a wonderful day - please plan on joining us.

Questions or comments? We're listening - ask away!

Preferably! But if there's a Pants Off Dance Off, can't be responsible for the outcome!

I'm just now looking at buying my membership. Should I just hold off buying online and purchase it there?

Up to you - but if you buy at Starfire and we still have kits available to give you, you'll save on shipping!

Dear ECS Members,

We are going to start training at 10:30 on Saturday. Sigi is going to talk to the players at 10:30 in the players lounge and introduce the staff (in case the draft choices don't know who their coaches are!) and also the Trainers, Admin people and everyone who takes care if them. This will take 10 -15 minutes so I am estimating walk out time to the grass field at 10:45. Please plan accordingly...........even tho I know that a little Seattle Sunshine never stops you guys from supporting the team.

Thanks in Advance.............
