imo it was a lot of good wing play and we took our time on the ball... granted the opponents didn't pressure us for most of the game but being able to look up and make the calm passes up the field made all the difference. the other team had some suspect defenders and we took it to them from the first whistle.

So true. They hardly pressured us or made weak stabby challenges allowing us to do whatever we wanted to. Possession was about 70-30 in our favor it seemed. Our vision at times was phenomenal - but mostly because of what Poca mentioned and having all that time. Also - the fullbacks contributed a ton on attacks up the wings because there was such little threat of a strong counter attack.

I'll echo the sentiments of poca and marcus, and emphasize possession. The last two weeks I have noticed a lot more of us controlling, and keeping possession by passing the ball, and not giving it up easily. We have imposed our will and playing style on our opponents the last two weeks, and while they weren't the best competition that we have faced, it should give everyone confidence that when we keep possession, and pass the ball around intelligently that we can control the game. Keep it up boys, we are starting to play some beautiful football.
