What's the format for PKs? 5 rounds or sudden death?

Sudden Death PK shootout? That'd suck...

Why no 3rd place match? Is the final full-field, or just wanted to give the losers a break? :P

Good question to ask. Five rounds. If still drawn, it's then sudden death.

It's two-fold:

1) Yes, breaks are indeed nice. But there's no real point in determining a 3rd place finisher. They don't do it in league playoffs (most) and this isn't the Olympics.

2. We'd really like all of the players to stick around and support the finalists. If we can have a great crowd on hand to support these players, it would certainly make for one to remember. If in future seasons that there is a high enough demand for it, we can try consolation matches. But to be honest, as a former player, I can understand it being very difficult to be motivated enough to play a tiring 2nd match for...well, just a consolation.

That makes sense. Totally on board with that.
