5/4 Conflict with Sounders

Unread postby Jabsco » Mon Apr 29, 2013 9:33:33 am

Any progress on this? I know the powers that be are aware of the issue, but haven't heard any progress on solutions.

ICYMI, the issue is there's a 1 p.m. Sounders kickoff that many of us are not willing to watch on DVR.

I'm willing to watch on DVR, but would like to know as soon as possible either way so I can adjust plans accordingly.

I'm planning on showing up.

I'll also show up regardless. But as a cord-cutter, I have to wait 48 hours for the replay to be available. Any chance we could set up a viewing party?

I think LBFV meets at Rookies for viewings, we could play our official games at noon (done at 1), then race there for the 1:10 kickoff?

Rookies works, except it will be very crowded if all of Pub League beelines there, and it is important to remember that Rookies is a family friendly location (no swearing, threats of cunt punts, calling people douche canoes, or the like).

ATTENTION ALL PUB LEAGUERS! Due to the time change of the Sounders vs Union match on Saturday, we need everyone to do their best to show up at 11am for pub league this week. We were not able to get the field earlier but we need to be sure to start absolutely ON-TIME. There will be no full-side friendly match and we encourage everyone to head to Rookies after their matches for the Sounders viewing. Also, as many of you will be traveling to Philly this weekend, it is extremely important that you all RSVP in FC Manager now so we can plan ahead.

Thanks everyone for your cooperation and understanding!

Please spread the word!

Someone ought to get a hold of Barra and the bar and make sure they are prepared for a bunch of extra heads that will be in attendance...

Thnx. Barra is working on letting Rookies know to expect larger crowd than the norm.
