AO's been asked by Seattle's World Cup Bid Committee and the Sounders to join them with Sigi Schmid, Adrian Hanauer and Chris Henderson at FX McCrory's from 6:30-8:30am on Thurs, Dec 2nd for the 2022 World Cup Announcement.

RSVP is required

The media will be there, and some players may show up, too.

But yes, American Outlaws will be there. Hope some of you can make it for the announcement.

...despite the "leaderboard" on the bid site, any doubt that Seattle would be a prime choice for a host city?

as long as husky stadium gets a revamp, no. (although the gousabid numbers for Seattle have plummeted to 10th)

I just want to get this over with. England has enough issues with the BBC investigations, and I'll be in pain after spending Wednesday at Stevens :D

Only question is, would it be appropriate to break out in Perry Como post 'USA' chants ?

I'm hearing rumours that FIFA are having crisis meetings and that the 2022 decision may be pushed back 2 years!!

EDIT: nevermind, seems I've been led up the garden path!!

i don't know what the hell happened in the last week, but US is now behind Qatar and Australia - this doesn't look good as the betting markets are generally a helluva good indicator.

something unseemly bad is going on

edit: Qatar is now 1/2!
