So I heard the CEO of NASL on a podcast say that there will still be a team in Carolina.

He used a lot of double talk as to what's happening but it sounds like the owner of the railhawks is being forced out of the league and doesn't think he's getting enough out of it so he's selling everything off.

yeah I don't think it's over in carolina yet... traffic was in the mix to run them too.

Kinda like MLS in the late 90's... twice as many teams as distinctive ownerships

Looks like you called it, Eric. Traffic Sports has bought the rights to the Railhawks brand, and they'll be playing in NASL for 2011. They also have a local minority owner on board, as well.
