Fort Lauderdale Strikers did great with their 6,402 attendance on their opening game.

Cool stuff. I really hope this takes off, it would be great for the SE to be represented in the MLS. I'm much more into a team in the SE than something like a 2nd NY team personally.

Our opening game was so much fun !!! Tailgating was insane, and the crowd inside was ridiculous. Myself, and another ECS'er are now leading the charge for our rowdie supporter section (which, oddly enough is in section 113 - behind the goals)... And our cheerleader girls are smoking hot *shwing* !!

Our next game starts in about 5 hours, but tailgating starts in 2 hours !!! Can't wait to get out there, crowd will be great.. And we'll send Minnesota home with a loss, eh? .. Don't be surprised to see South FL back in the MLS soon - there's a lot of international soccer going on down here - Including Barcelona playing down here, which will be sure to sell out the 76,500 seats at Dolphins Stadium.

Check out pictures from the opening game

whatever they're doing, much better than miami fc. 2nd game drew 4500 which isn't at all bad for that league.

two games combined so far are probably exceeding MFC's entire attendance for last season

We were there for about an hour after the game cheering from the penalty in the 90th minute. It was an EPIC Magical night for this new club.
