Are you inferring they copied this idea? I think that's a bit paranoid.

Eh, it's a challenge to take it up another level, worse case... I wish them luck, since we all know there's no chance in hell they can pull it off...

And if they used table roll, people would have been pissed about that.

Copied or not, it's good to see groups trying and popping off new stuff. We learn from trial and error and clubs all over, so for them to take ideas (like we do) i think is damn good. Fuels the fire for more creative ideas and displays for us and other groups. Also brings more attention to tifo in the US in general

yeah... and it's not like we did anything truly revolutionary as well with respect to the rest of the world. There's very little out there that's new, people.

Before y'all spout off, I'd suggest taking a good look around, and the best of tifo/around the world thread is a good place to start.

The notion that something that is similar is necessarily copied is one of the most annoying things in supporter culture.

haha I ate that one for Fortress RFK display in 08, someone dug out some obscure fuckin north african group or something like it that also did a fortress, it was funny :)

ESC copies something last night. They just redid same tifo they did against us earlier this year (DC haters thing). It was pretty funny, I kept waiting for a pun but it never came :)

Ya especially when they mustar'd up and display and we didn't. I love the growth in supporter culture here and wish opposing groups would just embrace the effort one another put forth and give a simple nod every now and then. I always look forward to our displays, but can appreciate an opposing group that expresses love for there team as well. Sometimes I think we have too many experts that reject the willingness of other supporter groups efforts or push the intrest of newer supporters away with their snobbery and bullshit. I get excited when I see a big display from another group and disappointed when I see an empty stadium in an opposing teams city. Maybe I'm overreacting, but just sick of the expert comments. We sound like the very same euro snobs that bash our league (no offense to our European descendants). Uplift one another from time to time, and I think the league will see further growth. Don't think you are the elitist
