Tom, you look alot younger than I had imagined. I like seeing the photos of the supporters in the street, must have been a great buzz before the match :)

Distressing news to hear you're having to sell players to sort out the financial situation at the club. Never a good sign

Those U's lads may get a game or two if they're up for it... we'll struggle to have two or three fit subs available for Saturday what with all our injury concerns and another player (Treschuk) suspended for a red in Sunday's match away to Miami...

See they've been at the baseball... tell 'em not to pick up any bad habits there

Aye, I'm only 18, which is why my re-visit to the States is off for another 3 years at least let

Pre-match was amazing, we were there for about 2 hours and it was just constant singing, all the tourist buses going past taking pictures and just looking in amazement at us was a sight worth seeing! Sadly that was pretty much where the fun stopped.

If they do get a game for one reason or another, then they're 3 excellent players. Josh Coulson (tallest, black hair) has only come into the first team this year, but's already being linked with Manchester City, centre half. Robbie Wilmott (the smallest one) is a very pacey winger, lacking a bit of confidence in front of goal mind, and Jordan Collins (Blonde hair, sunglasses) is a left back who played for about 2 months last season when we nearly went down, and did a great job in a poor team. It'd be a great experience for them and they'd benefit the Sounders for sure.

In terms of selling players, we rejected a bid for our top scorer today which was encouraging, hopefully no-one else will leave and we can get some quality players in now, not many of us are expecting a season as good as the last one though.

oh yeah, i failed to mention, I purchased 3 CUFC scarf patches so Ericgi, I have one for you since you are interested in the team as well. I figured that since they supported us with the vote for sounders, I'd gladly support CUFC with a patch on my scarf :)

Great stuff, nice that we'll have some clear representation in Seattle now! I'll be doing my bit over here when the merchandise comes out/I get some money.

Hopefully our boys have bought a few CUFC shirts over for the Sounders to warm up in :D

Latest update from the trio in Seattle is up if you're interested, but the last paragraph should give you something to look out for.

We have also heard that there is a U's fan living right here in Seattle so we are keeping our eyes peeled for the amber and black stripes, although we haven't been venturing out a great deal because it has rained almost every day!
