Saturday was a great day for our club. Yeah, we did not get promoted, and losing such a big match on penalties is brutal. But this was one for the ages. Personally, it was one of the best days I've ever had as a Tampere United supporter. Next year we will try again!

Sounds like it was an amazing match to behold.

"Friday's Finnish Cup first round match will be broadcast live at tamu-k.com/live. Match ball-Iirojen right against the teams will start at 22:30, and describe the usual Manu Haapalainen. Commentator working again Antti Pettinen. The best match of the atmosphere can, of course, on the spot, but if you do not reason or another can not Pirkka Hall, join the Friday night frenzy remotely."

This looks like good news. I'm curious what this means, functionally.

It is amazing news and I am so happy for all our friends that support TamU-K!

I would rather that Antti gave specifics.
From what I can tell starting in 2016 the club will revert back to Tampere United, but it will continue to be ran and owned by the supporters trust, TamU-K.

Is that correct Antti?

More or less. We have not decided the practical implementation yet. It might be that the supporters can actually become members of Tampere United directly, instead of controlling Tampere United via TamU-K. We shall see.

Antti,
I have been pretty busy as of late (moving into a new house), and I have tried to keep up on the results, but I was wondering if you could give us a short recap for how the season has started.
Thanks!

I was so happy for them all when I was watching the stream this past weekend.

Thank you to Mika, who will not be coming back to coach in 2016. As far as I understand he will still have a role in the club.

The tifo last night made me curious, so I just spent 5 hours reading this thread - sooo amazing!! Truly an fantastic story and so inspiring! I didn't see many posts from last season - did the team get promoted again? Also, is the 4th level called 3rd Division - what is the 1st level named then? I am a huge fan now - go TamU-K!

The "premier" division is called Veikkausliiga
They did not get promoted in 2014. They lost in the promotion playoff match last season. This year, they were pretty dominant in the 4th division.

This link shows the divisions and how they are broken down.
