Nice that first one is a really nice strike. It's pretty cool to see the reports your giving, the fact that you guys have some one filming and video editing, etc... I will say I'm a little jealous.

Here's the table after Tuesday's games. The two top teams play a playoff against the two top teams from another subdivision to decided the champion. We have already played against three of the top four teams, so we have little chance of catching them. On the other hand, we probably have a lot of easier games ahead of us, so climbing up to the top half of the table is probably totally withing reach.

Shooting goals isn't your problem, it's defending against them! Jeesh, the team at the bottom of the table has caught less goals than you guys.

Sorry, hate to be the asshole.

No, it's totally fair. We have a keeper problem. As incredible as it may sound, we do not have anybody who has played keeper in the big goals before. Finding a keeper is a challenge for many other teams as well, and that is our number one concern for next season. The fact that the team has not played together before this season also shows much more on defense than it does on offense. There has been only a handful of team practice sessions, because the team was put together at the last minute, and most play in other teams in competitive leagues. That also means that a lot of players are not able to show up for games consistently, so the lineup is in constant flux. And actually maybe half of our goals have come from free kicks and corners, we struggle a bit in scoring from the run of play.

Realize that the main reason that we are even playing this season is to provide therapy of sorts for the supporters. The secondary reason is scouting players for next season, but that is totally secondary. The main thing was that we needed a team for the supporters to support.

Makes total sense. I was just shocked to see the goals against figure, but when you fail to have that chemistry as you said it can lead to some issues. It's fun to watch you guys progress from week-to-week though. Cool stuff, and totally understandable that there are kinks to work out. Nothing shameful about being mid-table for your first season!

You are going to love this: in the league where Sinikaarti plays (6v6, 2x22min, small field/goals) there is a team called Wankers United.
