Forget the latest daily dose of depressing news about pathetically-bigoted songs and chants at football matches: a university professor has concluded that the majority of supporters are some of the smartest, wittiest and most creative people around.

Season begins in Sweden, lots of good action. Sweden might have the best supporters scene overall right now, to my taste anyway.

I thought the Norwegian kids were more into torching churches instead of walking down the street with flares.

Terrific stuff from the Roma-Lazio derby today. Roma with the massive flags, look at the details and design of some of them and think about how terrific they'd look in the Brougham End in Blue, Green, black and white. Lazio with the blue/white cards surrounding the massive overhead.

Haha you flatters us Finnfan :-) Was in Borås for the first game of the season Ljungskile vs Hammarby in swedish 2nd division. Ljungskiles pitch was to bad to play on so the game was moved to a neutral stadium.

the game was played in front of 3339 people. approximately 3000 away fans and 3-400 home fans hehe.
Next week sunday will be our last premiere game ever on our arena Söderstadion, this summer we will move to a modern stadium.

pictures from last premiere 2012:

and our last autumn game on söderstadion:

(180 flares and i hope the last premiere will be somethin simular :-) )

Was it just me or did the Dortmund display turn as the players walked accross the field?

Its an artistic trick, they executed it well. Makes it look like the art is looking directly at you regardless of position. (See: Mona Lisa)

I thought the transition in the mosaic just before the curtain came up was impressive.
