2013/2014 was one hell of a season for them. After being relegated last season and almost folding as a team, they had a stellar season and will be coming back to the top tier league next season. Having new owners that care about the team made the difference.

But today, today is all about the cup final (Israel State Cup = USOC). They made it to the final, and will be playing today for the hardware. The team is considered the underdog in this match, but they seems to like that. 20K fans and supporters traveled to the game (it's being played in the national stadium, both teams travel). The city worked with the team and arranged for a special charter train (The Yellow Train - after the team's colors) run to help people get there.

The game starts in 15 minutes. I hope I can find a stream. It's going to be a long morning.

Just made it to post the results...

Le sigh -- life of a supporter is not an easy one. But diamonds are forever, and there is always next year.
