Can anyone guess what it is??

This Sunday one of the biggest GSSL rivalries takes place at the original home of the Sounders - Memorial Stadium. ECS FC Black will be playing Finn Hill United at noon. This will be the 6th game in the rivalry which started back in spring of 2011. ECS FC's current record against Finn Hill is 1-2-2 with 9 goals for and 10 goals against. Every game has been decided by one goal and is usually done in dramatic fashion. See the history here: http://www.weareecs.com/ecs-fc/search-r ... ill+United

Both teams have racked up more red cards against each other than any other team. Michael fondly recalls: ""I think 3 Finn Hill players have been sent off in our entire history, all against ECS FC." This was early on in the rivalry and the last match was the first without a red card (and both teams hope it stays that way). Not saying a friendly yellow card would be a surprise though!

One of the things that has spurred this rivalry is the Montgomery clan. Bob plays for the ECS Rockets and coaches the ECS FC Women. Sarah has played for ECS FC Blue, Co-ed Indoor, and the ECS FC Women and is an active member of ECS FC Management. As the little sister, she has no problem straying from her older brothers' influence. "Beer is thicker than blood" has been a recent sideline motto for her. Then there are the Montgomery Brothers- Jack and Michael. Jack (aka Betrayal) has played for ECS FC White and subbed across the board as needed for ECS FC, but during the GSSL season plays for Finn Hill United. As the middle child, he clearly doesn't understand where his loyalties lie. Michael (aka Treason) has played for ECS FC Black and Redmond Indoor, but is also the team Manager for Finn Hill United. During the last match, there were some sideline disputes as to who would be allowed at the dinner table for supporting one team or another. The Montgomery clan does a lot for ECS and ECS FC and are well-respected within these circles.

Finn Hill also has many other ECS members on their team. Finn Hill United is a group of friends that grew up playing together, so respect is awarded to them for staying together and not playing for us. It has made for a great rivalry though as we are all close and share enough mutual respect to give each other shit and bring a little more passion to these games!

We encourage everyone to come out to Memorial Stadium on Sunday and support ECS FC Black in our first of two rivalry games this season (and support Michael after we beat him). Hope to see you at the match!

Hoping to get as many people in the stands as possible for this one. We are looking to get some good shots of how many people we can pull out for our bigger games for our sponsors. Lets pack the stands at Memorial. Spread the word!

We (Finn Hill) will bring at least three spectators. I expect you guys to exceed that number.
