Hey- haven't ever done the rec league thing & am trying to stay closer to Renton/Tukwila (vs Seattle ECSPL). Is there someone running a D team of ECSers at starfire (even for summer?) I know it's late for spring and so does my body...

Hey,

Steve is correct. ECS Barra FC currently has an indoor team at Starfire. If you PM alianza1 he should have more info on the team.

Also, I know others have expressed interest in the past about a lower level Starfire team in the past. If you want take the lead let me know. The only thing really holding back something like this is someone commiting to managing it and putting the work in.

Thanks, Skarpian - I think I hit him up on twitter (the main barra acct). Said nothing was in the works for summer b/c a lot of ppl are doing seattle ECS pub league.
Looks like from goog results that 2012 summer league registration opens in April - not that far away!
I have no idea what is required to organize a team, but I'll at least put out the feelers & go from there:

If you're interested in a Summer Starfire outdoor co-ed league (probably C or D level): check in here & I'll update the post

*Since I don't know a lot of you, if you're interested & happen to be a woman, pls say so!
Seadoc - haven't played in 12 yrs...but played from 7-18

Hey seadoc, yes barra currently has an indoor team at starfire and we will probably have one for spring as well. We have an outdoor co-ed for spring too, but I think its pretty full (at least for the men). Would you be interested in playing indoor?

You make a good point. I'm planning to register for spring indoor w/ a buddy & can't double up on the cost for ECSPL too but I'm interested as a drop in. It's closer than I thought.
