Interesting caveat in ESPN FC's recent October 27, 2015 blog post by Paul Car at following hyperlink:

http://www.espnfc.com/major-league-socc ... offs-title

Quote: "ESPN's Soccer Power Index (SPI) can use team offensive and defensive ratings to project odds for each round of the playoffs, including MLS Cup on Dec. 6.

SPI and the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook usually have similar odds for various leagues and competitions. While that is the case for MLS title odds, the two systems differ greatly early in the playoffs."
Unquote.

:) touch wood... I'd love to have DC fight back and advance with Montreal - which would guarantee the West would host MLS Cup.

There are some media pundits / commentators / talking heads that believe Montreal Impact will represent the East in the 2015 MLS Cup single-match final on December 6, 2015.

For example, here is a hyperlink to a separate thread with commentary by pundits:

There are a sizable number of pundits who believe Seattle Sounders FC can and WILL win the 2015 MLS CUP playoffs.

My prediction from Sept was a Seattle & Montreal final, with much frustration as to the costs for away support. With Seattle hosting that matchup I'm adding threat of snow to my prediction.
