myself and a few others were chastized and threatened with ejection for standing in the 200 level.
i'll never get tickets up there again

Just don't get Club seats with their fancier high back seats covered in leatherette; for instance almost all of 229 and 230 stand.

Ok that's good info. I never sit above 100 level anyway. Probably why i've never had a problem. That guy should not being wearing the colors not only cause he is not standing, but to yell at another supporter for standing. Maybe that's quite elite of me, but that's my two cents.

People don't stand generally but no rule prohibiting it

I've got seats in the 200s and I stand most of the game (bad feet). Full disclosure: my seats are in the last row.

I stopped listening to this podcast a while back because Simon Borg is such a flaming gigantic douche nozzle. And he proves it once again opening his mouth on this topic. The other hosts seem to get it: If you want to sit, buy tickets in a sitting section or request to move. The fact that Simon Borg is the one calling for "compassion" amongst fans just helps prove that world is indeed going to end in December...

Last year I saw a guy come into 122 with three young kids and knew it was going to go wrong. He yelled a lot at everyone because of scarves, flags, singing, you name it. I told him this is a true full 90 supporters section and he said he paid his $ for his GA tix and he's pissed he can't even watch the game. He was bitching so much his three kids started to cry but he stood his ground and threatened to get the ushers involved. He was the biggest douch I've seen at a match.

You also can't stand if you get a seat in the Accessibility Row, even in GA. But the ushers in GA are pretty good at telling people that if they haven't seen them before in that row.

I'm pretty sure my family was sitting next to you at the last game. My son kept trying to play with your crutches (if you are who I think you are). I learned the hard way about the no standing in the accessibility row when I got a talking to for standing up with my scarf during player introductions. Jeesh, killjoys.

I have heard a lot of flak coming out of the Hawks fan pages about standing. I stand at soccer and football games. I am sure that I have pissed someone off. I don't know how people can sit during a game. Do they have zero passion for what is going on out on that field? We joined ECS for the passion!
