I am still not buying that.
How long was Tiffert training with the team before getting significant minutes?
I would argue that he would still be the best first option off the bench even if he is not 100% comfortable with his teammates.
He wants to play, he is in form, and he is a better player than Rose.
Hell, he is a better player than Evans, but Evans is in form at the moment as well.

One thing I wanted to say about last night - the LBFV crew was over in 121 and they rocked it. They were an instant injection of intensity into the section that got others in the section going too. One of the better atmospheres in 121 I've seen this season, and I think this was a big part of it.

Hope you guys will stick around in 121 for future matches!

i agree with ultra, mario should have been the first sub, not rose.

overall though: some good, some slop and a couple downright scary moments. i really want to see it get tightened up

Surprised they didn't announce MOTM as 'Warm Body'.... First goal was Montero second was Tiffert ... Evans' best play was a good tackle near the corner of the box in the 2nd half... Otherwise he played pretty shitty.

It's sad... We have a guy like Mario Martinez who can actually help us win a cup.. And Evans with the big contract still plays.. Just fucking sad... Nice goals Warm Body Evans.

You also have to look at the clearances, interceptions and recoveries.

I'm not particularly going to fault Evans on the possessions lost, seems like both sides were turning the ball over every 5 seconds last night.

Yeah, for grins went and looked over both sides, pretty much both midfields had hugely high tackle/lost possession numbers. Evans was mid-low for a midfielder on both sides. (Ozzie had 8)

Was just that kind of match from what I could tell.

It's amazing how important having EJ up front is; it brings another dimension in our game. His presence sets things up, whether he's part of the play or not. He was a big contributer last night.
