Everything match specific.

Zakuani seemed especially pouty all match. That was weird.

And they had to give MOTM to Mario to try to show how much everyone loves him here. Big screen coddling.

With two assists and with how much he was involved in our creative play, MOTM was fully deserved.

i read his body language as more disappointment in himself either miss reading the run someone else was making or some other minor mistake he made.

Yeah, I'd probably agree with that.

Yeah didn't look pouty to me, looked like he was self motivating.

i really did enjoy the smaller crowd & that pretty much everyone was really into it.

if that's what the pre mls ecs was like, i'm seriously kicking myself for missing out

I know it's against SSFC law to say anything non-glowing about SteveZ, sorry.

Crowd was great, one of the most fun matches all year.

don't get me wrong...he made some mistakes. i just don't think he was pouty for any reason other than his own play/lack of vision for his teammates run

We're not saying he was good. I mean his goal was well taken. But what i think we're sayin is there's a
Difference between a player that's pouty and pissy versus a player that realizes he made a mistake, or missed an oppurtunity and shows that he's frustrated with his play.. However he was pissed at Martinez for over running that pass in the box.

see, i couldn't tell if mario overran that pass, or if zak sent it to the "wrong spot" for mario...either way, it was a nice pass straight to a marathon defender

I'm saying he was good. He was good. He also had a few poor first touches followed by slouching shoulders and shaking his head at people. He was the same in his match back in Dallas, would have a bad touch and then kind of raise his arms and watch the other dude dribble away with the ball. Just didn't appear to me that his head was right.

Though, these are the same criticisms of him his whole career, so it's nothing new, but I personally noticed it more last night.

ahh, i see. so you are saying that when he has a bad touch & looses the ball he doesn't really fight for it back?

yeah, i noticed that in the past before injury. cant really speak to recent play since his return. my glases have been a nice shade of rave green when watching him play (yeah, i'm biased, i admit it)
