I hope we don't come out taking wild chances in the beginning and show some patience and discipline. We concede, and this tie becomes like LAG in the playoffs last year. All we need is 1-0 and take our chances from there, whether that be in normal time or PK's. 90 minutes is plenty of time for us to get one.

I don't like our chances of scoring three, unless we get two fairly early and force Tigres to chase the game and we hit them on counters.

Tigres looked terrible on Wednesday on finishing. I really like our chances in this tie. Let's make some history!

We will be wearing our second kit, the shale.

I have weird feelings about this.

I'm guessing FSC again? Not seeing obvious confirmation of that, but I think FSC has all CCL rights.

Tigres basically left all their starters at home. They brought two players that started the first leg, but neither of those two play regularly for them in Liga MX. On the one hand, I agree with Eric that their reserves aren't much of a drop-off from their first eleven, and that they are probably stronger than most MLS squads. But that said, they did play their reserves in the first three games of the group stage and made hard work of qualifying. They needed a home win against Alajuelense in the last game, and put their starters in for that one, coming out 5-0 winners. For the three games where the reserves played, they only managed one win and two draws, including a 1-1 draw in Nicaragua against minnows Real Esteli where they equalized in the last minute. Most significant for me is that they conceded goals in both their road games. So while it's still going to be a tough task, their decision to bring their stiffs does give us some encouragement IMO. We still need to be aggressive and not let Tigres get into a rhythm, but we can also afford to be patient. If we can keep a clean sheet, I fancy us to score at some point.

Apparently Tigres had 23,000 fans at an away match against San Luis on Saturday....

Obviously this was not a spontaneous thing but something that had been planned well in advance. Still pretty darn impressive. Remember that time we decided that Chicago was our designated east trip, and we got about 200 there? Yeah...
