I have good news and bad news.
The good news is all the photos I took Saturday are in my head.
The bad news is the media card was in my computer................at home.

I got home after the match and opened up the door to the media bay on my camera only to see an empty slot.
I have not one photo.
Lesson learned? Dont leave home with out checking your camera out. Fresh charge on the battery? Check. Media card in the camera? Check and Check oh hell Check again.
I am sooooo pissed at my self that I am going to endure your jabs. We can have fun with this.
And go.

Which camera do you use? There's a setting that would prevent shutter actuation without a card, it's just mixed in depending on your camera.

Could be worse, a card that only has room for 40 images, so as that you've shot some, but are unwilling to format away all images to quickly get back to shooting.

You were having way too much fun with your new camera. It was all practice!

There's always another match

Dont' feel too bad. In a related story, on Sunday when Denise and I got back from the Reserves match I pulled the card out of her camera and when I started to download it it said "Cannot read card, please format card, would you like to do that now?". There was nearly a fatality in the processing room. But... we were able to recover all the pics after downloading a recovery program Denise found on line. Aparantly the bug can occur with that memory card manufacturer if you switch often between camera models. I was able to retain my job and my hide. :)
