Hey I don't know if there's a proper form for this but the Kiwanis Key Club is doing one of those group tickets programs but we don't have anyone to go cuz it's a high school club and it's summer.

The tickets are 18$ which I think is the normal ticket group price
33% of the profits go to our year charitable project.

I don't think I should post the link but PM me if you want the ticketmaster link

Sound Transit has announced they will run service for the game. Only gets you there an hour before KO but it goes back as well. Figured a few might go for that seeing how it's a sunday night game and some people gotta be home before midnight.

PS Sunday night games really are my least favorite.

But that one was planned the whole time. This game made them schedule it. Good to see they're paying attention.

The point is if you don't want to miss the march you can take the earlier one and get there even before the block party starts. Either way good for them the later one needs to be earlier though.

As for the actual game...

Have a feeling this is going to be very wide open and possibly a goal fest. Not many teams come in here willing to play, and from what scum did at RSL in their open cup semifinal, I'd expect them to come to play as they did there. We seem to be at our best when hitting teams on the counter, so I'd almost invite them to come forward.

For me the key player here will be Gonzalez... can he hold the left side down against pacier players. And the other key is not giving up a lot of stupid fouls in dangerous areas... I think we'll be ok in the run of play, but they stole two points away from us at the death last time on one, and we haven't really been defending well on set pieces all year.

As for the formation, will be interesting to see if Dempsey goes up top with Martins with Johnson playing similarly as he does for the national team out on the wing, or if we have Johnson/Martins resuming partnership and run Dempsey underneath them at the head of a diamond MF.

I think Yedlin will be more critical. Houston exploited the space behind him a lot last weekend. with his tendency to attack, and Portland's ability to counter, it's a definite vulnerability.

I'll worry more about Gonzalez's side if he gets an early yellow.

Seattle Sounders vs. Portland Timbers
CenturyLink Field (10:00pm ET)
REFEREE: JAIR MARRUFO
ASST 1: Frank Anderson
ASST 2: Adam Garner
4TH: Tyler Ploeger

Thoughts?

Oh, and Diego Chara got a yellow tonight, so he's out on card accumulation for Sunday, and Kah may be suspended based off a replay review.
