In addition to Chara's yellow accumulation, the scum are carrying some injuries. Will Johnson, Jack Jewsbury and Frederic Piquionne could all be out on Sunday, which leaves them very vulnerable. They have depth, obviously, but still.

I didn't realize Jewsbury might be out too. That makes the Chara suspension even more of a big deal. (Obviousy Johnson being out is huge)

I'd just like to take a moment to commend Doc Glen on the following:

If the thought of defending your home ground against your arch-rival doesn't get you amped like a case of original-recipe 4Loko's bonged down a vuvuzela, you're probably in the wrong group and should quit monkeying around.

One of the biggest objectives for a win is shutting down Valeri.

I don't pretend to look at SSFC ticket emails all that closely, but did notice that the march to the match is advertised as happening at 5:15. Did I not get the memo? Or maybe they're talking about the stuff they do in Occidental Park beforehand.

If the FO was in charge of the MTTM, that would matter. :???:

(But yes, assuming that's when they start their other bullshit.)

The march leaves an hour before kickoff like always, or whenever the hell Glenn wants it to.

The FO always marks it early in their emails. This is a good thing that gets the normal fan lined up with plenty of time to make the march.

Speaking of MTTM, are we going the "long way" this time or straight in?

I was thinking of bringing some roses and breaking them during the march but was thinking how fun it would be to burn some roses when we torch a scarf while singing "build a bonfire". Or jump up and down on some roses during 1974. Maybe its the alcohol but sounds fun to me. Thoughts?

Let me ask you this, would you even care with they grilled some fish? (yeah I know we're the Emerald City but really what do you even do to emeralds?)

Don't think taking out our anger on a flower sends a real intimidating message lol. Points for creativity though, keep drinkin and thinkin!

Better yet. Turn your anger into creativity and paint a two pole in support of the boys or to the chagrin of the Timbers. Do a spin-off from Outkast's song "roses." have a giant turd on top of roses with the phase "roses really smell like poo-oo-ooo"

I don't know just another one of my ridiculous thoughts. you could probably think of something better. the point is to concentrate your passion to support the sounders and guide them to victory.

I like the 2 pole idea a lot! I just wish I had the time to do something but work is a bitch. Regardless I'll be there being extremely loud as usual in my usual spot. I cant wait!

Joseph did not have a good match, let's hope he improves from now on. Honey Badger was a stud and our back line did well except for a time or two when they let a runner from behind. Traore is a big difference when he starts.

Dempsey did not have a good match, it seems he still needs time with us to weld. This match changed when we took Joseph (having a bad night) to Rosales (creative hustler). Gspurning deserved the MOTM as stated.

I think Joseph was nursing an injury for most of the match. He took a hard knock early on and didn't seem to be in it afterwards.
