This would be a good time to bring in the bench players with the injuries, national team call ups.

Yeah, back to plunging the depths of the squad just to come up with the gameday 18.

Oba will be a huge help if he plays. But if we can't control the midfield he will ineffective most of the match. A lot riding on our 2nd team MF's. Honey Badger needs to clean up well and Mauro needs to lead the charge.

Agreed. If the last game is one that people think was the "moment" when this team really made a move this season (Dempsey aside), then this is the one where their depth is challenged. Another clean sheet for Gspurning and more than a one-goal lead would be amazing, and not just for our GD.

who's done their scouting? how are Chivas' wingers, in particular their right wing? would it be an absolute disaster to have Scott at LB and Burch at LM?

then Neagle could go up top with [hopefully] Oba and could have what little remaining attacking options still available on the bench.

I like that better than Burch at LB and Neagle and Estrada occupying the LM and F spots.

If it were Fifa I'd play 3-5-2 with Hurtado Ianni and Traore as the 3 CBs and Yedln and Burch as wing backs and Rosales behind Neagle and Oba with Ozzie and Carrasco holding. But it's not Fifa and 3-5-2 tends to get torn apart in real life.

One of the best officiating all year. He talked, warned and hustled. No one is perfect but this guy was superb IMO.

Players of the match: Traore (no shit), Ianni, Yedlin, Rosales and Neagle. Pretty much no one played horribly. Please God lets get Oba oh Saturday :)

Yeah, agreed. Mark Geiger ran the game very well. Chivas isn't happy about not getting that indirect free kick at the death, but I think he did the right thing to continue ending the game.

Yeah, I'm not sure where some of the Estrada love has been coming from. I thought he was terrible.
