First of all welcome!

Parking is rather expensive... there's several pay lots in and around the stadium area, ranging from ~$20 on up. From experience, I'd park a few blocks north as getting out of the stadium lot itself, or the parking garages for Clink or Safeco can take forever. The "sinking ship" on 2nd/Yesler works well since it's close to Merchants/Fuel for pregame stuff. Above all, plan on arriving 2 hrs or more before kickoff if you can, which will allow you to get parking there, get a beer or two, and get to the march as well.

the "sinking ship" is my preferred location.......it is a triangle shaped parking lot, pretty consistent at $20

depending on where you're coming from, the bus or light-rail are much cheaper (but more time-invested) options, as well!

also depending the age of your son, i would recommend TAT's for a cheesesteak & beer where underagers are also welcome or Pizza Pro's, also all ages & has some beer.

if everyone is over 21, pick a place for a bite & then head to Fuel, Merchants or temple for pre funk :)

Hello Tom: if you have a dvr it is useful to record the match for later review. A lot happens during the flow of the futbol soccer match. Some broadcasts are also replayed on root sports.
