All -
For anyone that is a season ticketholder in sections 121-123, you will likely receive a note from the Sounders sometime today regarding changes to stadium entry starting next Sunday, March 8, for the home opener.
Most notably, anyone holding a ticket / MatchPass for these sections will be given a wristband upon entrance to the stadium, ensuring that the overcrowding issues - and more importantly, situations where someone holding a legitimate ticket is unable to enter the section - no longer happen, especially for some of our larger matches, e.g. Portland, Los Angeles Galaxy. The club has assured us that there would be extra staff on hand at the South entrance (up the stairs, near where the March to the Match ends) in order to facilitate this in a timely manner, once your tickets are scanned by the stadium personnel.
In addition, we have long requested a dedicated Supporters Entrance to CenturyLink Field, and we have been heard. While anyone holding a ticket in GA (121-123) will be able to receive a wristband at ANY gate for this first match, in order to prevent any confusion and work through any issues, we expect that after the first few home matches, this rule will be enforced - so we ask that you share this message with anyone you share/split tickets with, sell your tickets to, and so forth.
