2015 GA Wristbands and Stadium Entrance

Everything match specific.

All -

For anyone that is a season ticketholder in sections 121-123, you will likely receive a note from the Sounders sometime today regarding changes to stadium entry starting next Sunday, March 8, for the home opener.

Most notably, anyone holding a ticket / MatchPass for these sections will be given a wristband upon entrance to the stadium, ensuring that the overcrowding issues - and more importantly, situations where someone holding a legitimate ticket is unable to enter the section - no longer happen, especially for some of our larger matches, e.g. Portland, Los Angeles Galaxy. The club has assured us that there would be extra staff on hand at the South entrance (up the stairs, near where the March to the Match ends) in order to facilitate this in a timely manner, once your tickets are scanned by the stadium personnel.

In addition, we have long requested a dedicated Supporters Entrance to CenturyLink Field, and we have been heard. While anyone holding a ticket in GA (121-123) will be able to receive a wristband at ANY gate for this first match, in order to prevent any confusion and work through any issues, we expect that after the first few home matches, this rule will be enforced - so we ask that you share this message with anyone you share/split tickets with, sell your tickets to, and so forth.

Up the stairs, through the convention center, right near 120. Only times this will change slightly is when events are there, at which time we'll go to the left at the stairs, instead of through the inside of the building.

And clarify if this is specifically lower 121-123 GA and not upper sections 121-123? Can ECS members in upper sections take advantage of supporter specific entrance obviously without obtaining a wrist band.

Wristbands are specifically for lower 121-123. As far as we understand, that entrance will be open to anyone that walks up, but that anyone holding a supporters section ticket will NEED to enter via that entrance unless we're all instructed otherwise. This will also be printed on tickets moving forward.

So if I give my ticket to a friend, they can still come in, get a wrist band and pogo with us right? So is this just to prevent people who come into the stadium in 114 to come into the GA section? This still means that someone buying a GA online or from another online service when a lower GA person puts their ticket up can still join in.

That's correct. If you enter the SW gate with a GA ticket, printed or Matchpass, you get a wristband and get access to the section.
