As someone who will be at the game tomorrow night, I want to reach out to everyone in this supporters group to take part in the anti-Precourt chant or a we support Columbus chant. We as fans of MLS can't allow for owners and the league to man-handle franchises and the fans. If Precourt wins, every fan in this league loses!!! Please let me know what your thoughts are? It would be great publicity for the sounders, to be honest and Brad Evans and Chad Marshal would certainly be proud.

"C-R-E- double u, screw you Precourt, save the crew"

See ya at the March.

Cheers,
Charlie

Yeah, no.

While some of us don’t like the implications this move might have on the rest of the league, we will not be doing chants in our section denouncing the owner or supporting the crew fans

Hey Charlie,

ECS has produced a statement about the relationship between a club and it's fans, and how that applies and is violated by what is happening to the Crew. To take off on other teams and their issues isn't our role. We are Sounders and we support each other and our team on the field.

If you would like more info as to how to make a two pole or rail banner, I can walk you thru the basics. If you believe enough in the cause to try and start the chant in the stadium, great, you may hear lots of others join in.

Charlie, what you are asking for is not possible. There is nine years of bad blood between us & HSH and all of their Nordecke ilk. If you are unfamiliar with the stories, many of the old guard here would probably be willing to tell you a little bit about it for a beer. But, more specifically, to sing about another team in our terrace? It just isn't done. And, I don't think you are going to convince many members to change that on a night with win-or-go-home implications.

I am not a fan of MLS. I am a Sounder. And personally, I will always hold a grudge against Crew fans. I wouldn't give my piss to save their burning scoreboard.

No one is denying that Precourt is a cunt. But at the same time...fuck those clownbus piece of shit. They can drive down to FCC games and watch with the "missing" 25% of STH they lost.

well intentioned. but inappropriate. its simply not our fight.

on a side note, as a former member of Eberly’s Army down in Austin and native texan, i can say that team is screwed whether they stay or go. austin (texas in general) could give two shits about anything except NFL, college sports, getting fat, and generally remaining comfortable in a big ignorant cultural bubble.
