Kante (I was spelling phonetically) looks like a young CT, but at right 'back. Good wheels, had some very good crosses, in the first half, one to Taylor that was spot on for a perfect header, but right at the 'keeper. I think Lopez was wearing #12. Played center mid, seems like a good player, didn't make any really great, or terrible plays, that stand out. Lewandowski was probably one of the three trialists that were on the backline, with Kevin, in the second half, but I don't know which one. The regulars (I include Brent in this group) all looked pretty good. Of the trialists, Kante, and Mendoza impressed me the most. Kante's speed up the wing, on overlaps, will be a huge advantage late in matches, and Jesus has excellent touch on his passes, even in traffic. If he signs, it'll be an interesting battle for PT between him and (probably) Gardner, and O'Brien. And if they sign Whitfield, he'll be our supersub, able to spell both strikers, plus all of the midfield, other than left wing. I think that if we can sign both of them, we'll be even deeper than we were last season.
