Got it handled this morning. Viewing parties will now be held at Uncle Sam's Saloon in Kennewick. The owner is a super cool guy that was all for having us there and watching games. Offered specials on drinks and food, and even knew a little about whats going on with the soccer matches. He actually got on the phone right away to try and get MLS direct kick, but was informed that it wasn't available yet (im assuming because the schedule just got released?). Anyhow, it's a 21 and over venue, which could hinder us but atleast its a start.

Do they need direct kick? All Sounders matches should be broadcast down there. That's only if you want to watch other teams i thought and they blackout Sounders matches on there if you're in the market.

That's a good question, Does Kenniwick qualify as in market? They're 200 miles from Seattle..

A couple years ago I was visiting my family in Kennewick and I couldn't watch the Sounders/Red Bulls game there because his satalite provider blocked WGN with a message saying watch it on the local channel. He doesn't get Seattle channels.

Another option is you can always hook a laptop up to the TV and watch the game off of ATDHENET.tv It would be shit quality but you can still see it.

They do have a shitload of TV's, and like I said the owner was super nice. Even if we dont need direct kick, he was all into it anyways. If its the right price it shouldnt be a problem anyhow, and this way we can get every game for sure.

Uncle Sam's is a great location. Words of wisdom from experience, be very firm on NFL days. The NFL fans and favoritism of Spokane ruined a relationship with a pub we had.

Don't be afraid to take stand if you aren't getting enough TV's, the sound on, or just general shitty treatment.

My brother just moved out to the Tri-cities and is looking for a venue to watch the First Kick. Is Uncle Sam's Saloon still the plan? Is this the place?

So Uncle Sam's will for sure have the game (Direct Kick?). Coming down to Tri-Cities from the Spokane for a Soccer tournery and gotta catch the game. Just hoping somebody could verify that game will 100% be for sure be shown there, Thanks guys!

Sorry i havent been on here in a while. But yes, the owner of Uncle Sam's has bought the MLS DirectKick package for us, along with any other channels the game might be on. And the correct address is listed above on timmyfrank's post.

Thanks, Nick.

That was my brother that showed up with the camera (KEPR) on First Kick night.

Oh nice. Thanks for spreading the word over here. I think it was a bit lackluster, given it was a home game/tuesday night/first time we got together. I didnt see it, but apparently he featured us on the news that night.

thanks tim, perhaps we will see you here for a game this year.

Sorry, bro. You'll have to make it to Seattle to see me for any Sounders Games. I'll either be at RPB for home matches or in my living room with the family, or at the AC, for away matches.

I've been telling my brother to not be a stranger though. . . I hope he will continue to make it there for matches. . .

Thank you for what you are doing for the Tri-Cities Sounders Community. It's great.

UP the ECS, and Up the Sounders !!!

Is this venue still live? Since jobs are more plentiful there, the rest of us in the 509 might find the opportunity to join your cause fortuitous.
