So I've been looking around for pick up games around town, found one out at Capital High School on Sat/Sun. Anyone else play around here? If so when and where? I'm looking for some super recreational type play to start getting touches again and get back into shape. If anyone wants to come play at Capital, let me know, I'll get you the info. I haven't personally been out there yet, but the guy that seems to run it seems chill and welcoming.

There are a couple of us who used play out there ,Capital High/Jefferson Middle/Washington Middle School. It's bounced around a few places depending on if the schools think we were tearing up their fields. There is a wide range skill level and ages that go out there. It's a good place to go if you want to get a little running in and maybe a few touches, but be ready to see people trying to play in tennis shoes, even keds. And wear shin guards no matter how good you are you will get kicked a lot.

Have you been to the new indoor field yet? The have drop in games for $5.

I haven't been there, the site doesn't seem to give much information. I'd be more inclined to do indoor with people I've met/know, just because indoor can be so much more....intimate, I guess. So if there were a few other BHM folks looking to play, I'd be down to go out and do that as well.

What time? I'd be down to meet you this sunday, going to play outdoor at Capital High this saturday. Do we need actual indoor shoes, or can we wear running shoes? It just says that indoor/turf shoes are allowed, doesn't say anything else on their website...

Sounds like a bag of awesome. I'm not that good either since I haven't really played in 4 years and I am WAY out of shape. I'll send you a pm to make sure we meet up :)

And shin guards are require. ( just in case you think you're one of those guys that's too good for them :-P

Those are their two biggest rules.
