Pre-sale just arrived via e-mail. Will we have a chance at a group buy later or is this our best shot at tickets?

I'm pretty sure MLS requires there be decent junks reserved for the supporters of the teams playing. It does not look like the MLS cup ticket is apart of TFC's season ticket package (like Seattle did last year) so there will not be a super crush on tickets like their home games.

I'd wait.

From the "Please note" section located in the top right corner of the page:

"Western Conference Champion Supporters Section is Section 131 and Eastern Conference Champion Supporters Section is Section 134"

They're seriously putting both supporters on the same side of the stadium?

not only same side of stadium, but only 2 sections away. Let the lulz begin.

It is unlikely that it would be a problem security wise (although why take the risk). I'm actually more disappointed in terms of atmosphere. When the two groups can see each other and can sing at each other, it makes for a much better atmosphere.

Found this on the Galaxy boards, from an email sent to their season ticketholders about the presale. Not sure if our mail had this text :

Should the Galaxy win the Western Conference Championship, an additional allotment of 300 seats in a designated Galaxy supporters section will be made available to Galaxy supporters.

So I assume it's the same for the Sounders.

I was planning on going to Toronto for the Supporters Summit weekend and might stick around for the MLS Cup (will stay for sure when the Sounders make it).

interesting
what if..we played in the Eastern conference, won, and San Jose won through the West, and then we'd be in sections close to each other in Toronto
