What I heard was that the MLS Cup Final is not included in this year's season ticket package, but next year's... i.e. Anyone who wants season tix next year has to buy a Cup Final ticket. I think that is one of the reasons the TFC fans are so pissed. The FO is making them buy tickets to a Cup Final after the team the FO put together had already been eliminated from it.

You're better off flying into Buffalo, and driving/busing to Toronto.

QXer flew into NYC and then took a bus up to Toronto for the game there earlier in the season. BUF is a much shorter bus ride, though.

If you look at Buffalo, be sure to check Southwest.com; they fly in there but their fares are not in the main travel agency or web site search engines.

Thing is... right now even Southwest is showing a RT fare of over $430. For that much you can do RT from Seattle to Toronto itself.

Finally, don't forget to search for flights from Vancouver. While right now a RT from there is running $530ish, they're non-stops, and YVR is a relatively short drive in your own car and by the time you figure out the transfer time (going SEA to BUF or YYZ almost always means at least one stopover) you're looking at the same amount of time anyway.

Airfare to Chicago was around $200, I was hoping to fly out of Vancouver for aboot the same price on Air Canada. No such luck at the moment. Cmon price war!

The bus I took has 2 stops in Buffalo one at the airport and another in downtown. Right now if you were to fly in Friday and fly out on Monday it would be between $8-$16 each way. The bus was nice with wifi and power outlets.

Passport or some type of ID that they'll take. Regular driver's license, no good; enhanced driver's license, okay. Passport card, okay. Driver's license and birth certificate, no good anymore.

Flying, you MUST have a US passport to re-enter the USA. By land, you can use the other documents.

Just google it, you'll get a ton of info.

Required for Vancouver away also (or at least an enhanced license) so even those not planning to go to Toronto should really get going on a passport application.

The law says that a passport is required for both entering Canada and returning to the US, but if your driving across the border they will still let you cross after a lot of hurassment. Now if your flying to Canada, they won't let you on the airplane without a passport.

I'll quit being polite... everyone needs to just get a fuckin' passport. Yeah, they charge too much, but that's just how it goes.

Well, I have no power and no position, so there's no abuse. :)

And I could qualify it- if you don't want to go to any other countries to support the Sounders, then obviously you don't need one. But if you do, then goddamit, get a passport. Make the appointment at the downtown State Department office and get it done.
