One of the things we're doing in West Sound Armada this year is picking an away match to go to as a sub-group. This is the 2012 match we are targeting. Hopefully we'll have a very good showing.

Came across a living social deal today for $50 roundtrip airfare to long beach through jet blue. maybe not as good as flying into LAX but $50 roundtrip is a solid deal.

All that is is a 25$ savings...spend $25 for a $50 voucher TOWARD the round trip airfare. Which, if you fly the 25th down and the 27th back is $135.

So it's really $110 round trip with that voucher.

I'd put my chances of going around 85%. Looks like a good long weekend in LA.

I'll be there with at least a couple of buddies. I grew up in Southern California, so I decided to fly back and visit some family and friends. I'm flying Alaska into Long Beach it was something like 130 round trip. Long Beach is a really small airport, but its actually closer to the HDC than LAX. Just a random tip. After the game I'm going to convince my buddy to go to Roscoe's house of Chicken and Waffles (also in Long Beach).
