this is what I'm spending my tax return on this year. My brother just recently moved to NYC and now I have no reason NOT to visit. plus while I'm there, I'm going to recreate a pic I took pre-9/11...

Good luck fitting the trip to Cooperstown in there! That's a heck of a drive.

I live about 2 hours from NYRB, and I was just wondering where the "group" sat at Red Bull Arena. I don't want to be that one person on the complete side of the stadium and get beat up when Seattle win!!

I'll be going to Europe the following week. Really tempted to make this a stop for a few days.

You can meet supporters at Carlow East for the pregame pissup, and head over to NYRB Arena with them. Watch this space for details. There will likely be other meetup points in the area.

If you arrive on your own, don't worry. I've been to NYRB Arena many times, and have lots of friends who are NYRB supporters. They are not a hostile crowd, unless you are a DC or Philly supporter, which we're not. Just stay out of their supporter section-- the stewards won't let you in there anyway.

The away supporter's section is in the upper level of the west end. A steward can direct you.
